HANDPOKE BAMBERG WOLF

I tattooed this wolf entirely by hand.

Matteo chose it from my flashes, I "stole" the original from an ivory plaque that decorates a Viking chest in Mammen style, which you can see by scrolling through the photos.

My focus has always been to try to bring into tattooing the authentic aesthetic vision of the world and spirituality that the ancient peoples of the north had, which is why it is always an enormous pleasure to reproduce a true piece of history, free from any modernity.

Having approached such a design with the handpoke technique, therefore tattooing it without a machine, made it, if possible, even more special.
